Landscapes and Cityscapes

This post-modern impressionist series is inspired by the relationships between the urban and natural worlds. It focuses on patterns in colour and light innovating sculptural forms found within nature and cityscapes. It seeks to convey the beauty in the anonymity of the city like moving tapestries across the painted canvas.The composition are framed rather like a choreography that holds music, dance and the non verbal resonance in the structure of this new work. I create an image like I would a poem, building up layers to make these impressionistic rhythmic paintings.​
